In July 2025, a sawdust pallet block production line was installed and put into operation for our project in Turkey. The entire line passed commissioning on the first attempt and has been running stably ever since.

The sawdust pallet block production line is specialized equipment that processes wood waste such as sawdust, wood shavings, and scraps — crushing and high-temperature drying the material, then forming it into pallet blocks (the supporting feet at the bottom of wooden pallets) through gluing followed by hydraulic pressing and high-temperature extrusion. It serves as a replacement for solid wood pallet blocks and is mainly applied in the wooden pallet and export pallet industry.

Equipment configuration of this project:

1. Gluing and feeding stage

A glue mixer equipped with a control cabinet, working together with a feeding screw conveyor for continuous and stable material supply. The automatic glue application system and electronic scale operate in coordination to ensure precise glue ratio and uniform feeding. The single mixer has a capacity of 1,800 kg/h, providing sufficient and uniformly glued material for the downstream hot pressing stage and ensuring stable product quality from the source.

2. Hot pressing and forming stage

The core of the line is a double-sided, double-outlet hot press forming machine. Through hydraulic pressure and high-temperature hot pressing, the glued wood waste is continuously extruded and formed into square billets, with a stable daily output of 6–7 m³/24h. The discharge end is directly connected to an automatic cutting saw with a cutting efficiency of up to 1,800–2,000 blocks/hour. Forming and cutting are seamlessly linked without intermediate material handling, ensuring continuous and efficient operation of the entire line while reducing manual intervention.

3. Automatic block cutting stage

An automatic pallet block cutting machine is adopted. During operation, operators only need to place the blanks manually, and the machine automatically completes feeding, length setting, and cutting. Pneumatic cutting ensures clean, flat cut edges and high dimensional accuracy, and the finished blocks are compatible with various pallet production lines. The machine is easy to operate and supports customization of cutting specifications and machine body color, fully meeting customers’ individual requirements.
