The press pallet production line is a fully automatic integrated system designed for mass production of high-strength press pallets. It can process multiple raw materials such as whole logs, wood branches, and wood waste into uniform wood chips through chipping and crushing units. The wood chips then go through thermal oil drying, glue blending, and high-temperature high-pressure hot pressing to form finished pallets in a standardized industrial workflow.

Boasting environmental protection, low energy consumption, cost advantages and stable automatic operation, this production line guarantees steady output and consistent finished pallet quality.

This full set of press pallet production line was completely installed in Turkey in October 2025 and put into official operation in January 2026.

Main Process Flow & Equipment Layout

1. Crushing & Screening Section

One set of Model 218 (110KW) drum wood chipper and one Model HMW65X100 hammer mill are deployed to crush raw wood materials and screen out wood chips with qualified particle size.

2. Heating Source System

A 2100 KW/H (1.8 million kcal, working pressure 8 bar) horizontal reciprocating thermal oil boiler is equipped to offer continuous stable heat for the drying system.

1. Thermal oil boiler is an once-through special boilers which based on forced circulation design idea.

2. closed loop heating, and the atmosphere, to extend the service life of the boiler, liquid transport heat, heat loss, significant energy saving effect, good environmental effect.

3. Thermal oil boiler, notable feature is a counter current heat exchange, combustion exhaust gas temperature and the temperature difference between the heat-conductive oil exports below 30 ℃.

4. Thermal oil boiler its excellent structure, mainly run at a lower pressure, get below 450 ℃ operating temperature, low pressure high temperature characterist.

3. Drying System

Matching the thermal oil heating circuit, the system reduces the moisture content of 1~2cm wood chips from the original 40%~45% down to below 5%, which meets the strict moisture requirement for hot press molding.

4. Glue Mixing Unit

The 37KW high-speed glue mixer stirs wood chips, glue and additives evenly, with a maximum hourly throughput of 4 tons to ensure homogeneous glue coating.

5. Hot Press Molding Station

8 sets of 1600-ton hydraulic hot presses are configured for one-piece high-pressure molding, realizing continuous high-efficiency pallet forming.

The 1600-ton four-column hydraulic press is equipped with a PLC control system. It can be operated with one button to perform pressing, extraction and shaping. It has high efficiency and can automatically complete the entire process including pressure application, pressure limitation, lowering, holding pressure, timing, pressure release, demolding, and ascending to the position.

The pressure retention time for processing one tray is approximately 4-6 minutes (including feeding material). The total designed pressure is 1600 tons. There are 2 cylinders and the molded trays have high density and a beautiful and elegant appearance.
